OH HEY!

So who on earth still made an obligatory stop by BlvdxAve in the past month? I sure haven't... I don't think any of our bloggers have. What the f- happened?! Oh yeah, summer love and heartbreaks happened. Did the government establish recession yet?

I hope BlvdxAve still has an audience; otherwise this post would merely be for my own viewing pleasure. So, I've got these friends from Sacramento who are on a mini-tour in Southern California. They just threw a thrashing performance at my friend's house show in San Francisco (where I no longer live).

Check out Ihabial... they're math/indie rock-ish.
Also from Sacramento is Lite Brite. I didn't catch a good portion of their performance, but they've got this impressive cover of Pink Floyd.

Cafe Mariposa @ Echo Park. Fun starts @ 7:30 but it'll cost ya $5. They've got some other local talents stacked in the lineup too.
